Celtics get lucky, Pull out win in Portland

(AP Photo/Jim Mone)

I say the Boston Celtics were lucky to win at Portland on Sunday because any game with Leon Powe playing only 6 minuets the Celtics should lose. But thanks to great play from Paul Pierce who rebounded from a terrible game in Phoenix, the Celtics won 112-102. Doc Rivers, I still hate you! How you could give any minuets to Scot Pollard ahead of Leon is beyond me. Pollard should not be in the league, Pollard Shouldn't even be in the D-league. Big Baby is good some games for a few minuets. But giving him 17 minuets when he is playing terrible is ridiculous.

There is no player in the NBA that gets more out of a minute than Leon Powe. He still finds a way to be productive and make things happen. How Doc Rivers could have him on the bench blows my mind. If the Celtics are going to win the Championship, Doc will need to figure out how to use his bench.

Doc's a moron, Don't expect Leon to get playing time the rest of the season. You're right he doesn't know how to use his bench and it could cost the Celtics in the playoffs

Big Baby is gonna be great, but for the moment Leon needs more minuetes

I am so damn sick of Doc its amazing. The guy is the worst coach in the NBA and he got lucky cause he landed a good team. He will ruin this team and the season. Go Leon!

FYI, Leon has averaged 14.7 pts and 8.1 rebounds in games in which he has played 20 minutes or more this year. In those games, he has averaged 27.4 minutes of playing time. Pretty solid numbers
